Crysis demo delayed until 26th October!

Crysis countdown until demo release, stay tuned for more!

Demo was announced to be release on 25th September but now has been delayed until October 6th here’s the official statement by EA Games or Crytek

"Hi everyone, we have some news to announce.

First, I am sorry for the bad news - the Crysis single player demo will now be available everywhere on October 26th, 2007.

We are taking some extra time to make sure you that you have an amazing experience but also we did not want to risk the release date of Crysis at this stage. To get the game into your hands by November the 16th, we had to make this call.

Now the good news - the big surprise. The SP demo will be released with our CryEngine 2 - Sandbox 2 game editor, giving the community the opportunity to get familiar with the vast amount of tools they will have at their disposal four weeks before we ship, something we have always wanted to do.

This is an exciting time for us at the studio as the development of Crysis comes to an end and we are only a few weeks from Gold Master. We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to getting Crysis into your hands on November 16th."

Team Fortress 2 Servers

Team Fortress 2 beta is live until Oct 10 2007, then the game gets released. I have decided to setup a dedicated TF2 server (I’ll prolly leave it running even when the full game is out) been playing this so much recently its such a fun game! You really should give it a try…

Zombie walk report brought to you by TODAY IS BORING, was a very enjoyable day out some very good zombie makeup… loads better then the zombie diaries the month before surprisingly there was a huge turnout … as we were walking over the bridge just outside TATE modern I saw hordes of the undead staggering along maybe around 300-400!? I’d say was a great sight…

sold out both nights!

truly amazing performance by dir en grey there first time in the uk selling out both slows … I went the first night and was so blown away I had to go to the next night wed night had better crowd/atmosphere but the Thursday the really did play better tracks ‘like obscure / rotting root C among others’… but the best bit was see’in two whole sets both days they did really select a different set for each night which was very interesting ;) kyo is an amazing vocalist he really does sing with great passion and from the heart which is very rare in this world most bands I’ve seen are no way as intense as these guys! these shows go down as some of my fav live performances to date...
